A look now at the newest additions to our store courtesy of William Fox & Sons. Originally established in 1913, William Fox & Sons have overtime become somewhat renowned as specialists in traditional sports such as rugby, track & field and as diverse as mountain hiking & ocean going yachting.

When the company originated, they literally began as a small handful of clothing enthusiasts & as mentioned in their online biography, put advances in design & progression as a company, down to moving along with technological developments, new production methods & changing lifestyles & environments that we live in, all of which have ultimately brought them to a point where new wares exist for all types a countless amount of outdoor activities.
For me some of the best features when it comes to accessories is the attention to the smaller things & fine tuning, if you will, which William Fox & Sons have definitely done here to set them apart from the standard backpack. Made in the USA & having running themes throughout the design such as the suede tabs & zip closures, continuing adjustable padded shoulder straps & also patch on the front right sporting the company motif are all nice little features. Another feature which is refreshing to see lies in the variation of styles & colourways, which leave you wondering what the company’s next move could be when it comes to their next release.
In total we now have 3 styles of backpack from William Fox & Sons for you to get your hands on. Firstly, the ‘Day Pack’ which will be available in Saffron, Moss & Garn Red, a medium sized backpack, perfect for short trips & smaller daily essentials.
The next style that we will be stocking is the ‘Tear Drop’ pack which will be available in 2 colourways, Mandarin & Royal. Slightly larger than the Day Pack, yet still convenient & easy to handle in size, the Tear Drop style features the running design theme of suede pull tabs & the single diamond suede patch & in addition features a suede bottom.
The last of the 3 styles we have is the William Fox & Sons ‘Trail Pack’ available in Navy & Royal colourways. The largest of the 3 styles, it is a lot more suitable maybe for a longer haul journey. It uses the standard main single compartment & in addition to that has two side compartments enabling space for just those few extra belongings that you’re usually umm-ing & err-ing about taking on your trip.
